Up to 50% off food and drink
The government’s ‘eat out to help out’ scheme is in full swing, with many restaurants offering up to 50% off their bill, with a cap of £10 per person. Many see this as a way to help restaurants recover footfall, which is welcomed by the hospitality industry. However, government rules have left many restaurants scrambling to catch up, as recording keeping has become a mandatory requirement. All restaurants must:
- Collect records of all visitors in their premises
- Ensure records are deleted after 21days
- Ensure records are kept inline with GDPR directives.
